The 3rd Annual Midwest Literary Walk took place on April 16, 2011 and it was a great success! Thanks to our phenomenal readers, engaged audiences, welcoming host venues, River Gallery, Zou Zou’s Cafe, Just Imagine Bookstore and Chelsea District Library and the Chelsea Community Foundation, whose generosity made this event possible.
The 2011 line up included readings by Laura Kasischke, Keith Taylor, Jeff Kass, Scott Beal, Bonnie Jo Campbell, Zilka Joseph, Bonnie Rose Marcus and ML Liebler, with music by the Shelter Dogs and a performance by October Babies at the closing reception.
Thanks as well to the planning committee who gives their time and creativity to making this event happen: Sue Whitmarsh of the Chelsea Center for the Arts, Deb Greer of River Gallery, Sara Wedell of the Chelsea District Library, Sandra Xenakis, Chris Lord and ML Liebler.
